"This is true. M Cars are not moving. The new M4 CSL is an embarrassment."

Last week I was offered $1,500 OFF MSRP on a new M8 the dealer had on their floor!

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say. Can you clarify your position or thought?

he is trying to say that global warming is real and caused by human activity, and has nothing to do with politics.

if you look at the Porsche website there are currently 13 new TTS cars available to purchase that are coming. Some are already here and some will be here in the next week or two. I’ve called every one of them. The minimum ADM is 50K. That’s the cheapest guy.

There just are very few allocations. I have a very big dealership near me and they haven’t gotten one in months. If you got yours at MSRP that’s awesome. Maybe you got a connection or maybe you just have such a super relationship with them they were willing to take $50,000 less money. I don’t know. Maybe you can hook us all up with them and we can get one at MSRP from them.

We're all talking about the paucity of allocations for the 911TTS and rightfully so - the car is extremely scarce at dealerships and the demand is stupidly high.

But, when you guys ask around dealerships about the TTS do you also ask about allocations for a plain TT? I'm curious if it's easier to get those, because they don't have the added value of the "S" factor.

As far as I can tell, the TT and TTS are functionally identical if you spec the missing options from the TTS on your TT (like the PCCB, headlights, folding mirrors, etc). So if you can stomach not having the "S" badge on your car, it might be prudent to get a TT allocation and just spec it up to a TTS?

Surprisingly for me it was easier to get the TTS. My original deposit was for a TT but the dealer essentially told me my best bet was to switch up as the TT allocations were hard to come by.

TT allocations are more rare than TTS

Me too… I paid over retail for my allocation. I would love if someone that bought theirs at msrp, would share that dealership with us. But since I knew that was hard pressed, I just ponied up. It’s my dream car, and at the end of the day, I’m okay with paying to play.

TT allocations are far more rare. I received the first TT allocation from my dealer who is a high volume dealer in March 22. I finally pick it up next week. To date this is their only one despite having a waiting list. They have sold well over a dozen TTS variants. Porsche came out with the TTS first and all the press went nuts over them, for good reason. There is more demand and much higher ADM for the TTS but for essentially the same car at a lower price and lower ADM it was a consideration for me. I also would be 5 or 6 on the list for a TTS at that dealer and I believe they are getting 75K or even more ADM. They just sold a 1,300 Mile used Cab TTS for 329K

I can easily add an M Engineering tune and get almost 90 extra HP and 50 Ft/LB torque for $ 3,500 if I feel I am short on power but there is only 0.1 Seconds difference in the 0-60 times, big deal. For me the steel brakes were more sensible, especially when it comes to damage or replacement. Now there are bragging rights at the Porsche get togethers where the guys with an S may feel superior, but that's just fine with me I'm very happy to have the opportunity of getting a 992 Turbo to replace my 993 Turbo I had for the last 15 yrs. Time for something new.

Janko Lind did an interesting review of the TT here:

I ended up paying a small ADM which was almost covered by the 23 model year increase and some inflation.
Both are great, just getting an allocation is the hard part unless you are willing to throw lots of cash out there.

Speaking of ADMs, this car started at a $329K asking price, and now look at what they're asking for. Of course, this is a whacky spec. The dealer's had it for at least 2 months. Wonder what they paid for it.
