I just took our shop 992TT out with the PDK2 to run some errands for the shop. Does great around town. Crisp shifts and very daily-able.
Anyone that orders a PDK2 tune from me I am giving away a free Dragy while supplies last, just mention it to me when you place the order.

Oh nice!!! I would jump all over that, but unfortunately for me, I'm waiting for my TTS to arrive. It's still in production... hoping it will land state side by October.
I have the PDK2 of my 992 Targa 4.
Basically, I have all mods that are available for the 992 bases except for the downpipe and intercooler.
My car has an M engineering tune, Pure turbo, IPD Plenum, Akrapovic Catback Exhaust, and PDK 2 Tune and it pushes over 600WHP.
The PDK 2 Tune make the cars drive better for sure.
I can see the low gear slip situation has been reduced. I pulled 1.22G acceleration from rolling 20Mph.
The Manual shifting experience is better and it is more smooth.
The Transmission logic is more close to a 7Speed GT PDK now and it will roll on hills.
On daily drives in auto mode, you normally don't feel much difference as it is already really good, I am sure you can feel something with manual mode.
It is worth it if you have a big turbo, for a stock car, maybe get an ECU tune first then consider this upgrade.

Hey guys and gals, I've got some Dragy's in-stock. So for those that purchase the PDK2 tune we will give these out for FREE along with the tune, just be sure to mention the deal.

Has anyone been running the PDK tune in their daily driver TTS? Thoughts? How many miles?
cheers,

I am, the trans shifts nice and hard, crisp. When I was stage2 I noticed a bit more of a firmer shift, but it wasn't anything too crazy. Now with PTME turbos, it is shifting nice and firm with all the extra power, no signs or slip or anything like that. Day to day its very similar to stock, the shift patterns etc. I mostly drive in manual mode however.
At the end of the day, I think its a good idea to have if you're making more power, just for the increased clutch pressure so that you're not wearing out the clutches more trying to hold the power with stock pressure.

I’m stepping into stage 2 (on 91 octane for daily - better juice and tune only at track days). Automatic transmissions are the one thing I don’t touch. I’ll change the fluids on my other P cars’ PDKs… but I’d like the clutch etc. to last a while as I’m likely to keep this one for 250k+ miles. Just wonder if anyone running the tune is seeing accelerated wear…
I’ve been chatting with Dodson about clutches. Might upgrade mine down the road.
They said the stock clutches are rated for 800 Newton metres. They’ve had customers push up to 1200 Newton metres with no slip. Therefore, the stock clutch can hold 1.5x.

I daily dive with PDK tune with stage 2 tune (8 months now). Sporty and smooth are the words. Fuel economy is excellent when you need it.
Overall, PDK tune seems better matched to the power band and more responsive to throttle inputs. Super smooth in normal and I find myself manually shifting a lot more.
I really like that the clutch disengages at stop (takes a minutes to adapt), just feels more like a GT car or you have a manual. You dont have to ride the brake pedal at light and clutch re-engagment is flawless.
Only 'tricky" bit was relearning to to park incline...car will roll back, so you have to feather the throttle like the old days.
