Default Strange Electronics Happenings

Ok recently had an update installed to PCM but I still get these messages from before and after the update. Anyone see these? I get them everyday almost.

Also not sure if this is an Apple thing but when I approach the same intersection my Apple Carplay connection stutters then stops playing music, and then the screen goes blank. I hit the Home Screen, re-select Apple CarPlay and after a while it starts acting normal. I am used to Bluetooth connections but the way it is setup is wireless. Any ideas?

Have not seen that screen. Apple phone plugged in? That was the old days, it's all bluetooth and it works better than in all my other cars.

When I plug the phone in it seems to work fine. Usually the issue with the phone is when it is connected wirelessly. I’ll run up to the dealer to see if they can shed any light on both of these occurrences.

I've had strange reactions before - like the PC on your desk, every now and then it needs a reboot - on the TTS, the volume control **** is also the computer reset button - press down in the middle of the button and hold until you see the reboot initiate - it definitely calmed down the issues and things went back to normal - i still get an occasional burp (eg. car play drops) but i believe that is more of a network issue

For some reason my phone was set up through wi-fi instead of bluetooth. I'm going to try to see if bluetooth has a more stable connection and helps with the connection drops. Also I turned off some of the notifications so I will see if that clears my message that shows up every time I start the car.

Here's a thread from the GT3 side...PCM 6 problems exist across the 992 platform it seems?

Good find! I typically just hang out in the TTS thread but I guess I should expand my horizons. I will check it out. Thanks!
