Speeding laws are harsh in Ontario...

150 km/h + or 50 km/h over is considered street racing. 40 over if the posted sign is less than 80 km/h. Possible $10k fine, jail sentence of up to six months, car is impounded at the roadside for 2 weeks and drivers can also have their license suspended for one to three years after their first conviction.

Im sure a 765 is crazy from 150-300 but I could never tap into that outside that back straight at Mosport track...and that would be about 5 seconds of glory.

To me TT/S has the performance dominance in just the right spot.

WOW. Crack 93mph and subject to $10k, 6 months, impound. Unbelievable. Sad that threat exists.

Mclaren with a tune, DPs, etc, they do over 150mph at the track, they’re animals, TTS doesn’t really stand a chance. The weight difference is too much.

Which car has a classically beautiful form and which car looks like a generic rectangular supercar block?

Dragtimes Brooks ran a stock 765LT to 9.34/150.
Quick cars for sure.

For reference, 992TTS with upgraded Turbos, tune, and exhaust, has shown to do 1/4 mile in 9.4-9.5 sec

765LT is very light. The engine is not that much more powerful than the 911 Turbo and the gap is mostly closed by a tune, but the weight is completely another level. Makes it a marvel. I'd love a 765LT body with the engine and gearbox from the GT3 RS - it would be slower in a drag race than the actual 765LT, but an ultimate joy to drive.

2700 lb for the 765LT. 👏

That is lighter than my 993 (2800lb) which feels light with 290hp.

The McLaren must feel like a raw nerve ending.

No, that's the dry weight. Car and driver weighed the one they had for the lighting lap and it was just over 3100. Still feels very light and almost 550 lighter than 992 Turbo S or 480 lighter than Turbo S with the weight loss package (https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...y-the-numbers/ ). But the way, is this the first stock 992 Turbo S with under 10 second quarter mile?
