Default Oil level reading?

Any idea how to regain an oil level reading after an oil change? Filter and 9 litres of oil.

I’ve driven a short distance, ~12kms, let it idle for 4 or 5 minutes in neutral with engine up to operating temp. Still no reading!

If I remember it's a 20-30 minute drive or several short trips. It makes you want to find the person, it's the same person that changed the Homelink from 991.2 to 992, I would bet, and ask just put a dipstick in and be done with it.

That's so silly, I agree!! At least the 991s had a countdown feature with the car warmed up, level and idling in neutral that was very effective and had zero guesswork!

Well, the engine is running. It has to be off at least a minute doesn’t it?

I plug my dealer software in and get the oil reading in seconds, the dash I wait for months to get a reading, really want a DIPSTICK, was way easier

I gotta say…whenever I look, the oil reading is always there - I guess I should consider myself lucky (at least for now)
