This is a case where it might not be slower, but it depends on the wheel you choose.
As much as I'm known for my strong opinions over on FChat about running chariot sized wheels, and gladly dive head first into a brawl with both Wheels Boutique and TAG about all the negative effects of running wagon sized wheels, this is a case where you might not get a worse result. It will however, greatly depend on your choice of wheel. But reality is that all the factory TTS wheels are boat anchors. I believe the lightest offering is like 29 and 31 lbs. Both HRE and Forgeline can offer you a set that is about 21 and 23 lbs. Yes the tyres are a tiny bit heavier, and that weight is added tovthe tyre which is the worst place to add it, but we are talking less than 2 lbs per tyre. Also, a lot ofvthe weight you save on the wheels, you save on the barrel, not just the center. Additionally you will increase diameter slightly which will also detract from performance. But due tovthe high weight of the Porsche wheels, there will be little to no impact in this case. This is if you run MPS4S 335/25R22 in the rear and 265/30R21 front. Now if you choose a Pirelli in 315/25R22 and 255/30R21, you are not adding diameter, nor are you adding tyre weight at all, just removing wheel weight. A package with 9x21 and 11.5x22 wheels and those Pirellis, can be significantly lighter if the right wheel is used. Here I'm thinking HRE R101 Lightweight or Forgeline GS1R.
Now would I do it? Nope. If I wanted speed, I'd doba 20/21 R101 combo. Besides, I hate the look of those big wheels and hate the resulting harsh ride and understeer they often causes just as much.

I’ve got 21/22 HRE R101LW with 255/30 and 335/25, no degradation in handling or ride (have TechArt HAS). Also am fortunate to have a .2 GT3 that I track (kept stock sizes when I did HREs, also R101LW). So the Turbo S is not seeing track time, but it is being driven, really driven.
