Default maybe not-so-noticed tach and chrono dial feature

My TTS was deliberately built with relative subtlety in mind. I did not order special colored tach and chrono dial rings, but the upper part of my dashboard is slate leather. The rings for the tach and the chrono dial are also slate. I understand that black interiors default to black rings. I wonder if the default color is that of your upper dash, regardless of spec. Does anyone know the standard P uses for this?

Either way, I really like how it turned out in my interior.

My black interior has grey gauge rings. Glad too since my exterior is grey.

my SA told me black interior defaults to black rings. Zero surprise that he's wrong. Zero. I guess I got lucky with the slate gray dash board.

My 2021 C2S has a Slate Grey Interior and Slate Grey Trim. The Chrono Trim Ring is also Slate Grey . Never thought about it or even noticed it until now.

Any chance of a photo of the slate grey dial rings please?

and how’s the slate grey leather for wear? I think it lightens the cabin nicely but does it then blue with colour transfer from clothes like jeans?

Photos taken at night of my Grey Dash and Sport Chrono. I'll try and remember to repeat this tomorrow in sunlight as the flash seems to render things a bit differently than what they look like in the bright of day.

As for wear, I have the 18 Way full leather Grey Seats. At 6 months and a bit over 5,000 miles I can see no wear and certainly no color staining. I wear jeans almost all the time. If that were a problem I'm fairly sure I'd have seen something by now.
