Weird. I thought I saw it as a separate line item for 2022 builds in the configurator. Can you turn it off?

on my’21 992TTS, default PDCC setting is “normal”.
Console switch allows PDCC to be activated in “sport” mode when desired.

PDCC is standard on the TTS. I believe it is an option on the TT. I can tell a difference between the NORMAL (off) and SPORT (on) settings. At first, the NORMAL setting seems plenty stiff enough but I found you quickly become accustomed to it. So additional chassis control is nice for spirited drivings on twisty roads or the track. If you are a more leisurely driver, or do not plan to do any track days, with another model where it's an option, you might not need it.

That;s what's nice with the DSC Controller, instead of the factory normal and sport, you can make normal and sport set to your road conditions, it's a night and day difference in my 991's, and the day it's released for the 992's I'll have one, it makes bad roads nice.

PDCC is standard on the TT-S and optional on the TT.

It cannot be “turned off”. The button on the dash toggles between a more comfort oriented program or a sportier orientated program for the joint PASM and PDCC systems.

From what I gather, PDCC is more of a comfort oriented system than a performance one by allowing more compliance over bumps but still allowing stiffer roll control while cornering. Reading race car driver reviews, particularly the Sport Auto Supertest, where they complained that the PDCC made the car more unpredictable at the limit. GT3/3RS/2RS all don’t have PDCC. So I decided not to opt for the PDCC on my TT. Further, by also not opting for the axle lift system, I save the weight of the extra hydraulic system.

I had the chance to test a 991.2 TTS with PDCC at PEC LA. It was interesting to say the least, totally flat cornering. But it also felt odd, because you can't feel the suspension loading up at all. My instructor also agreed that he didn't much care for it as a performance feature.

I eventually got a TT so that I could skip PDCC.

WHOAH, May be a deal killer for me. I don't want PDCC... but I want a 992 Turbo S. Suppose I could "deal" with it if I could turn it off... Decisions. Decisions.

You cannot "turn off" PDCC, it is an integrated system.

May i ask why its a deal killer? I am not adding it to my TT cuz i like the natural feeling of weight transfer in the car, i like to feel the limits and adapt my driving style. PDCC hides that feeling.

Exactly the reason why I did not spec it on my TT

You can order a turbo and option it without it or wait for the 992 GT2 to come out.

The GT2 won't have it

I passed on PDCC on my TT. Not sure exactly what Im missing but there is barely any body roll with SPASM. Setup feels great.

The 4 wheels steering is more noticeable with small changes in input.
