Default Configurator updated

It's acting a little screwy, but you can see what the new sport Chrono clock looks like.

The speedometer also have green digits, which is interesting.

Is the 360 view working for anyone? - seemed to go away when they updated it for the '22 updates. Tried all browsers - no go.

My build shows rear diffuser body color. I think it’s glitched.

360 doesn't work (isn't even available) anymore.

Selecting Sport Chrono Package doesn't appear on interior view.

Tried selecting the fancy new Chrono Clock... still didn't appear in the interior view.

I miss the 360 view. That was the only way to really get a sense of the interior imo

Glitchy is an understatement - hard to even get into now. Maybe the person running quality control for the cars has been demoted to website administration.

Weird that the configurator is simply wrong and keeps glitching and no more 360 degree view. Why would they take this helpful feature away? You'd think they'd enhance it for 2022 and make it even better, but to get rid of it? Makes no sense. And the rear valance is body colored now? Obviously a glitch, right? But why? And the high gloss black rear slats show up in chrome? Odd. I'm considering this build when my allocation becomes available this summer.

Still on the fence about stepping up to a 2022 since I'm in love with my 2012, but after spending 4 hours in the emergency room the other night (I'm OK now), I started thinking, why wait? My current Turbo S is 10 years old with 28k mi on it. It could be time for a new car. I only live once, and with my current stress level at work, I may not live till 91 like I thought. I'm 60 years old and work a sales job, 80-100 hours a week... it just might be time to treat myself for all my hard work. Yet, I still don't know. I read every one of your posts and I'm still not sure what to do. When I finally get the call and email, I'll know then. I just added in the leather seat backs with carbon fiber inlay as a late birthday gift to myself if I get the car ;o). Porsche Code PNDRM8D8 $239830

I am sure your 12' is a great car, all of my six turbo's have been too, I really thought my 991.2 was just about perfect after I made it fast, but I think the new one will be better once power is added, prerrt sure you would be very pleased with a 992

Hard to tell but from your avatar, your current Turbo S looks very cool. Any more pics?

As you probably know, the 997 and 992 are very different animals. Is your '12 TTS a manual? The steering and dynamic feel of that car is going to be a lot different than a 992 - arguably better in some ways, especially the steering. The '20 will be a lot faster, but will it be more fun to drive? Will this be a daily driver or a weekend backroads kind of car?

Keeping both would be the boss move, but not practical for most people. I would have a hard time letting that '12 go too.

Very nice build. Go for it, life IS too short. You could have a pile of cash on one side to look at and admire - or a brand new Turbo in your garage to look at and drive. Easy choice - at least for me.

Yeah I don't know why Porsche had to mess with a good thing,....sure, add some high res pix when you complete the build or something like that, but it's not even close to being right now and it was pretty spot on before at least for selecting options. Now you can't even see what deviated seat centers look like and a lot of other options. You would think Porsche would have a test environment that employees would fully remediate any issues first before releasing to the public. Hint Porsche - don't let the general public be your dev/test environment.

Does make we wonder though if a painted valance is now part of the '22 model year when sport exhaust is chosen. It should be - for what the PSE costs - that or the option have it gloss black. A lot of prominent reviewers did call it out as looking cheap. Does seem odd - they even left the center matte black
