Was missing the HRE's that my 991 TTS had so I took the plunge.
I went back and forth with the finish between this and a light gold. It's tricky with Chalk but this finish I thought provided enough contrast and I was worried I'd get tired of gold.
The KW HAS kit is amazing. Had to source it in Europe but it was worth the hassle. I had this set up on my 991 and absolutely loved it.
This car already has the 20mm lower stance from the factory and I didn't want to slam it, but with bigger wheels it needed something. Just a tad lower in front and not much adjustment needed in rear.
Better pics coming at some point but here's what I have at the moment.
Now be honest... ride quality before lowering it vs now?
Haha! I've only got 50 miles on the new set up, but honestly it feels BETTER!!
The front was only lowered about 10mm and the rear 5mm so hardly a drop at all. we put on michelin rubber which is worlds better than the goodyears so I'm sure that's why it feels better.
they are 335 section rears and the road noise is literally half of what it was stock.
Stunning and thanks for providing pics that capture the essence of chalk.
Mine is coming in May and I am also really debating what king of finish to get with Chalk. I believe you made the right choice versus gold.
My choices are some variant of bronze or a more neutral titanium / charcoal.
May I suggest tinting the windows?

Thanks. Yeah with Chalk I think some kind of contrast looks best. I really love the titanium finish but I didn't think it would be bright enough.
A gold would be cool but again, I felt I might get tired of it. A dark bronze is also cool and a totally different look.
I used to tint all my cars. Now I think the shade that comes from the factory is perfect. That and I'm also probably getting old!
