Default Stock tire brands?

I have GoodYear tires on my car, but noticed other cars with Michellin PS and Pirellis.
Is there somewhere in the build or a specific package or rim that gets you a different tire brand?
Was just curious! Would like to know that I have options when time to upgrade my tires.

No there is not. I guess it just happens to be whatever they have in the factory at the time that your vehicle is built.

Ill let you know when I pick up the car. Had the crew at Porsche Nashua do Xpel, window tint, and Powdercoating the rims. Will pick up this week!
From what I've read, they are good tires.

Apparently the Goodyears are preferred over the P0s. Im Pirelli but have no miles on them until tomorrow.

Goodyears here, my 991 Turbos came with Pirelli which were "meh" at best, and swapped for PS4S asap. Maybe new 992 versions of Pirelli are better.
With 600 kms logged to date, jury is still deliberating on Goodyears.

I'm 99.99% sure no TT/TTS comes with Michelin.

Put my Pirelli's and the stock wheels in boxes next to my 991.2 tts Pirelli and stock wheels. Had traction issues with the Pirelli's on my 991.2 when power was added, and I change the wheels anyway switched to Michelin's 4's on the 991.2 and was so happy put them on the 992 as well, but then again I don't drive normally

The PSC2 are not as bad in the wet as folks make them to be. My M4cs came stock with PSC2 and since I already had a dedicated set of track wheels and tires, what I needed is a set for the daily drive and wet track, so I originally considered swapping them with PS4S once they were worn. However, I had quite a good experience with the PSC2 that I replaced them with another set of PSC2 when the time came. I drove them on multiple occasions in heavy down poor without issue. I also used them as wet track tires with one occasion on very wet track day and they performed really well. For sure, they are not as good as PS4S in the wet, but aren't all that bad. They provided a much better connection to the road with more direct feedback. They do become quite bad when it is cold AND wet though.

All that being said, PSC2 construction can vary quite significantly between the difference manufacturer specs, so experience will vary.

I had Cup 2s on my GT 350R and they were fine, but the tire life is abysmal.

992 Turbo S is 4 wheel drive! With Wet diving mode now.
There is no issues in the rain.
Now with my 2019 GT3RS with MSC2s 265/325s I do tend to slow down a little in the rain.
