Default Please post your factory stone guards :)

I'm mulling the idea of adding black factory stone guards in front of rear wheels on my white 992 Turbo S, just to give it a little more visual interest. Would love to see picture of other cars with Stone Guards to help make up my mind, with bonus points for any white coupes. Or if there are any bored photoshoppers out there who want to add them to my car....

You aren't the first to suggest that! I just never really got the draw, but probably haven't paid enough attention. I'll start looking at those too.

No worries. I am still waiting on mine that were supposed to be shipped by the dealer when I bought the car. Still waiting.
I think the older style stone guards looked okay. The new ones are too squarish.

Hmmm... weird you say that. I saw one picture here with stone guards and it looked so squarish I thought maybe they weren't factory? When you pick them on the configurator they seem to look more like traditional 930 stone guards...?

Here is what I mean. The bottom of the 992 is squarish whereas the ones from the 997 are more rounded.

Personally I'd leave the clear ones on, but definitely get some protection on the gloss black cills.

Had the black stone guards on my 86' turbo, came that way you had no choice except to remove it, for the last 15 years I 100% clear wrap my cars, takes care of any future issues, and so easy to keep clean

I think the root issue is the color white is just not that appealing the TTS. The body contours IMO are much more revealing in metallic colors with depth (Gentian Blue, GT Silver etc)

Older 911 worked, but the 992 lost it.... Hard pass!
