Are you going to offer a gt2rs style exhaust decatted?

Unfortunately, we cannot go make bypass pipes for the 992TT. It created a lot of backpressure issues during R&D.

We are proud to announce we teamed up with CSF to offer the beast Intercoolers in the industry for the 992!

  • Eliminates heat soak and lowers intake air temperatures (IAT's) for maximum performance in race conditions. This is especially critical due to the intercooler placement in the engine compartment
  • Formula-1 performance grade core by PWR (2-row core featuring rolled tubes w/ inner fins)
  • CNC machined billet end tanks with integrated machined y-pipe connection to throttle body
  • 100% TIG welded vs OEM style gasket and crimped plastic end tanks for maximum durability in high boos applications
  • OEM style CNC machined inlet/outlet connections for precise fitment with all OEM components
  • True plug-and-play, “drop-in fit” installation
  • Made in the USA at PWR North America

Hey Sausage,

The Bypass pipes did not create enough back pressure to keep the ECU happy, hypothetically it could be remedied through a tune but in our initial testing, the juice was not worth the squeeze.

Fabspeed - will those intercoolers fit the 992 Carrera? Intercoolers sit in the same location as the TS so...maybe?

Regarding the cat bypass pipes: that is not the first time I've heard of cat bypass pipes losing power on 992s. Something to do with the turbo spooling up too fast due to the decreased backpressure forcing the ECU to respond by pulling timing to try and get the boost back within a defined table. Aftermarket ECU tuners will eventually get around to correcting for cat bypass pipes but as of this point most tuners recommend at least sport cats to keep backpressure up.

Hey BDYD,

CSF believes that they are too large to fit properly. We have not looked to confirm fitment either, but we are actively looking for a solution for the Carrera.

Stay tuned!
