Default Best way to optimize 0-60 time with LC

Hi All,

Since test driving or going for a ride in the 2021 TTS before specc'ing and ordering mine was impossible due to all arrivals being customer cars, my friend recently obliged my request for a ride in his 21 TTS. During the drive I discovered something I thought I'd share with the board. In order to get closer to Motor Trends claimed 2.2 0-60 time, the sport response button should be activated while you are letting the revs build up before launching. That will activate all 640 hp and help improve your 0-60 performance. Some of you already know this but thought I'd throw it out there for anyone who hasn't. Cheers!

Waiting for the ice to clear before I try that secret trick.

In the meantime...I am getting better times in Sport than Sport Plus.

Thanks for sharing, so the sport response button gives access to the unknown unclaimed horsepower beyond the factory 640hp.IMHO, this button's worth at least 50 ponies.
It is quite interesting to see that European manufacturers tend to underrate their cars (Macs and Porsche seem to be worst offenders) whereas the Americans over rate them.

Car and Driver agrees with you:

To achieve such a quick launch to 60 mph, we put the Turbo S in its Sport mode—not Sport Plus because it engages all of the active aerodynamics—and Sport traction in Porsche Stability Management (PSM). Launch control in Sport mode holds the rpm at around 4000, but we smashed the Sport Response button in the center of the steering-wheel-mounted drive-mode dial to jump up to just over 5000 rpm.

Interesting the user manual says LC is only available in Sport Plus. Clearly wrong.
In Sport, the revs go to 4000 rpm while Plus goes to 5000 while sitting there.
Hitting sport response button in Sport mode, pops the revs to 5000, but does it really do anything in Sport Plus mode?
I've only tested out (Sport Plus, spoilers retracted, no sport response button) and got 2.6.

I plan to test (Sport, sport response) and (Sport Plus, spoilers retracted, sport response).

I saw that in the Manual as well....but clearly LC works in Sport Mode
