I ve been following this thread for a number of years and re read it.

did anybody mount Cup 2 275 s on the front and 335 on the rear and how did that work out on the track as far as better cornering and braking ? How about an added wing like Tecart and did it help braking and high speed cornering?

thanks.

Wider isn't always better. There's on optimum tire width, and the OEM width may be optimal.

265s front and 325s rear is plenty on 20/21 rim sizes, works with no issues and about the limit. Adding 275/335 is gratuitous and to be honest the only change i would make to go faster on a course is better cooling on the track (tuned cars) and stiffer suspension via a proper Coilover kit/lower the car a bit but then you lose the duality/different car and no longer complaint on the street. The car is able to take crazy curbing without upsetting the car in oem config and making car super stiff you will be bouncing over the curbs. You also need to keep in mind too drastic a change to rolling diameter from stock will affect AWD.

Just got back from 2 days at Road America and had a great time in the Turbo.

I use 265/325s. I would not think any wider would fit but that’s just a guess. I can’t imagine that the Techart wing offers significant downforce changes.
