I'm with you. Never happy with stock ride height! Here's how my 991 sat which I thought looked great and much better than stock. But this new stance on the 992 with SPASM is close to perfect.

Very nice spec and love the wheel choice! Question on the calipers, did Porsche stop using the standard yellow with PCCB on the 992? The black does fit well just curious if this was a move they made. Cheers

thank you.

the yellow is standard. Gloss black is a $900 option

That looks fantastic. I like the black calipers with chalk. I would leave as is. Congrats on the new ride. I’d be interested on your thoughts on the ride with SPASM.

I put about 40 miles on the clock today. Still not really pushing it but can give you my initial impressions.

The ride feels well damped and compliant on the street but less bouncy compared to the 991 which is a big improvement. It’s softer than the gt3rs which isn’t surprising but I actually think the Gt3’s ride is quite good on the street despite how low it sits.

Compared to the 720s the ride feels more plush to me and that’s saying a lot since I think the 720s is really comfortable on the street for a car that is as capable as it is on the track. The turbo is definitely a car that in stock set up could easily handle daily duty.

I also notice less road noise compared to the 991. The cabin and overall feel of the car is very solid. You feel the weight but also get the benefit of the insulation and sound deadening material. Exhaust note is satisfactory. A bit quiet for my taste but again perfect for daily use.

it’s a great compliment to the GT3RS. Different in almost every respect.

it will be interesting to see how the car feels and holds together on twisty roads at higher pace but I get the sense it will perform well compared to the 991.

I have zero seat time in a non SPASM car so can’t comment on how it compares to that set up but so far I’m pleased with the comfort and would feel very comfortable putting some serious miles on this car even for commuting and daily duties.

More to come.

Will it be for non-PSE and PSE cars? Several of us would like our cars with the quad pipes but have a nice beefy sound.
