Default SPASM - worth it on the Turbo?

I’m lucky to have an allocation and decided to go for a TT http://www.porsche-code.com/PMU2JQG1 Is SPASM worth specifying ? I anticipate back road fun drive and touring rather than serious track stuff

Also anyone had the Ioniser ? I thought it would be for adding scents to the interior but looking at the specs it seems more about air quality ...

Love the spec, and Ive heard some people stating that the turbo s can be really stiff/jarring with it on roads that aren't perfect but to me its more of a look thing with being OEM. Id have specced it if my car sitting at the port was ordered by me but it doesn't have it. Ill let you know how the standard suspension feels with it...

Yes, they're an electronic air filter. Their value is somewhat debatable as some can generate levels of Ozone that are not considered a good thing.

Here's a link to a fairly comprehensive review of how they work and what the benefits and risks might be.

Very nice spec...turbo wheels look great with the sport design package.

I speced SPASM for the aesthetic 10mm drop and occ track work.

From what I read, it doesnt seem to be a game changer for a very capable chassis already.

FWIW - I had SPASM on my '13 C2S - perfect stance!
I'd do it on the new Turbos without reservation.
