PASM

That's what I was thinking too. If it really bugs me, I'm sure over time there will be plenty of ways to lower it if needed. My guess is it'll be just fine at standard height...

Thank you for your first hand observations Bluehighways!
I remain optimistic the 992 TTS with PASM Sport will be "just right" for me in it's intended purpose.
The 991.2 TTS sat too high... It didn't inspire me visually, plus the odd time I had it on a track (PCA instructor) it felt like a lumbering school bus in the corners (...and an F-35 on full afterburner in the straights).
My GT3T wasn't too firm and it had great presence because of it's GT stance. Hoping the new PASM sport captures some of this, as this is what Porsche has intended.

Having said that, I am hesitant to lower my current TT and stiffen it, as its my DD. But I may go with SPASM and lift on the new 992 - when that happens. Go figure

I had to order it. Lower the car is the better for me. Opposite with skirts... cant be high enough unless it's my wife.
I have a 17' R8 and it has settings to allow me to put it in a comfort mode for long drives where I wanted comfort from a softer ride. Does the PASM not have a softer setting?

The Ferrari bumpy road feature works great. You leave the mannetino in Sport and then select the "bumpy road" button (image of a shock absorber on a button). Use it all the time. You have to spec the MH shocks/suspension but it's pretty cool. At least on a 16 California T HS.
Is there a button / adjustment to soften PASM?

Three Wheelin'
By definition PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) is an adaptive suspension and the stiffness/response of the dampers is adjusted through the mode dial on the steering wheel (Normal/Sport/Sport+).
My understanding is that the Sport PASM is simply a sportier version of the suspension with shorter and stiffer springs that provide a lower ride height and a recalibration of the PASM for those higher spring rates.

Does anyone know if the ride height with SPASM on the 992 is the same as the ride height of SPASM on the 991? I am just confused since SPASM used to be a 20mm drop. Now it's 10mm.(because PASM is now standard) Does a non spasm stock 992 have the same ride height (angle of attack etc..) as the Stock non pasm 991? Just trying to figure out how much ground clearance SPASM on 992 has? Also do you guys think there is a benefit to having SPASM with a manual or no difference?
Thanks in advance

There wasn't a SPASM option offered for my 991.2 TTS and I found it to be too soft - and I didn't like the look riding so high. I rarely needed the front-axle-lift (FAL) and could have skipped that option. I understand why so many people went with aftermarket suspension gear on the 991.2 TTS.
I find it interesting that they now offer SPASM on the 992TTS. I ordered my 992 TTS with both SPASM (and FAL). I hope it's not as mama bear soft as my 991.2 TTS was. But I also hope it's not TOO papa bear firm.

Video of Turbo S without S-PASM
I don’t know if you will find this useful or not, but this is a video that my dealer took of my car, which I picked up a few days ago. My SA advised me to not get the S-PASM as he said the ride is much rougher with it. You can see what my car looks like and decide if you think you would want a car lower in height than mine.

So, I'll have to close my 992 T/S spec list soon, and as expected the PASM vs SPASM is giving me a headache..
It's the: SPASM + wheels on comfort pressures VS PASM ...
Until now, has anyone driven same car with those two different options? And, who knows, in the UK? What would you advise?
I obviously want the -10mm like everyone else, but if SPASM truly is a lot stiffer (even on wheels with comfort pressures) than PASM, then ..
Also, just by looking at the wheel gap, can you tell me if the two cars below have PASM or SPASM?

Drove two 2022 Turbo S back-to-back yesterday, one with SPASM and the other without. The ride quality in the non-SPASM car is markedly better. I personally don't see the value of SPASM in a road car - the limits are so high anyway, why degrade everyday comfort? YMMV.
