They sold 1518 NA TTS Coupes in 3 years (2017-2019) in arguably a great, great bull market, decent interest rates, cheap money - not a worry in the world economy. i seriously doubt it will be hard to get a 992 TTS unless they produce 100 and there are 150 people that want one. It starts at $204K for a coupe. Decently optioned - you are at $225K and up. Cabs start at $216K. Optioned - $240K? So unless they artificially keep production super low - it will be a buyers market. I am sure it will be a great car - but wrong timing for them. I may buy one in 2-3 years at $160K .. Right now, I have a 991.1 TT modified and will dabble in more mods to keep it interesting - but will not spend $240K minus $115K (trade in) to upgrade. My car is probably almost as quick, maybe on a par w Cobb/Kline - after mods. I can spend $125K on a lot of interesting things vs a slightly better car. Weekend at Pebble for two 5-10K. Week to 10 day Mauii vacation $25K. Unless you have absolutely have f u money and dont care - 992's are going to struggle. Even those have the means wont buy "silly toys" like they did last year. Dont get me wrong, i love what I am seeing from the 992.. What's not to like - 60 extra HP, PSE, SPASM, and so forth.

I ordered mine (in Germany) the day they were announced. Original delivery in June, now moved to July. On the upside, I got switched over to model year 2021 and could add some options, like steering column in leather, which were not available in MY2020.

You did well.
I did my deal just after the launch which was pre coronavirus.
I managed to get 4.75% off MSRP. Which at the time was a very good deal, considering most dealers were sticking to list. I felt my SA. was above board the entire process and as promised, I was able to order just a few days after the launch.
I’m very happy with my relationship with my dealer and plan on honoring my pre coronavirus deal.
Beat wishes and enjoy.

If you live in CA, you can get $45K off on a 2019 991.2 Turbo S. Two were sold at this discount at a local dealer as listed “Discount” price. I am sure you can ask for more discount. That’s back in late April. May could be different.
