I think not getting the ambient lighting is something you would regret. Yes its expensive but even for when I pull into the garage it's pretty cool to see. Photos are in a brightly lit underground parking garage while on my ED, they are decently bright (especially the basic white LED). I didn't get the puddle lamps as in Canada the only option was the basic 'porsche', so I know I can add $30 bulbs to the existing lamps that come as part of the ambient package.
I don't drive any Porsche at night often either, but for the odd time I do, it will be nice to have.
beautiful. I have only one car so my 992.1 T sees all weather, night and day. I didn’t realize that “not driving at night” was something that you (we) adhered to. I’d love a beater truck for the cold but Alpin 5’s have been very stout thus far. OP, wonderful spec.
4th out of 10 in this tire test: https://www.tyrereviews.com/Tyre-Tes...-Tyre-Test.htm
I have them on my 4GTS with about 7,000 miles now. Pretty good all around, and are wearing well for all I've put them through.
Ok so they should be pretty good it seems. @DDGTS GT3T had the same exact build dates as me and we came over on the same boat and also landed at the same port yet he got Michelins. I don’t get Porsche’s reasoning on which car gets which tire.
Yeah it’s bizarre. Seems like they pick tires from a pile at random. Note that the tires you got are the Supersport R, which is different from the Supersport (no R) in the video @MAXFPS posted. There is also a Supersport RS, which is for more track use. Do you have a sense for which series of Supersport you have on your GT3T @Scottykenneth ? I had Supersport R’s on my 992.2 GTS and had nothing but good experiences with them after 4,500 miles.
