Given the mechanical and finished configuration of the car that Porsche announced, I’d welcome the $40,000 upcharge if:
(1) Every single option were a no-cost option except Paint to Sample
(2) A new generation of standard and Paint to Sample paint colors were made available to usher in a new era of Porsche paint offerings. I am talking about paints that actually could compare with paint finishes and creative colors that Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Bentley, and, dare I say BMW, offer. Many of these flat paint finishes are boring and Porsche’s effort at metallic paints is laughable compared to what the above marques offer.

I would have paid the up charge for the EXACT same car that I currently have now just to:
1. Reset miles and warranty to zero.
2. Have the last manual NA GT3
3. Chance to do European Delivery Again.
I'm not paying $40k for a lesser car.

I have a feeling Porsche knows this price hike will hit their ADM dealers squarely in the nuts. Those dealers on one hand need to move these cars in order for Porsche to actually realize the gains, but they also need to walk a tightrope not to **** off the client with outrageous ADM numbers. I'd be very very interested to see how all this plays out.

I’ve never been interested in the GT3 until now. I like the minor improvements of the .2 but have a hard time justifying the $40k increase, especially with no real gain in performance. Assuming the stealerships decide on a $60k+ ADM, the new GT3 will be well north of $300k. I, for one, don’t think this GT3 is worth that kind of money. I’d rather spend another $100k and buy another super car or even a lightly used GT3RS (really not my cup of tea). Fun times ahead!

Dealers will ask and get $75-$100k over, even with the price hikes. This will do nothing to curb dealer ADM’s. I know dealers already l locking in slots at $100k over on the more onsite 992.2.

$60k was a rough guesstimate. Anyone know what the range of ADMs that folks were paying on the .1 GT3? Unfortunately, there are a lot more people with and without $$ than ever before, with a big gap in between, if you know what I’m sayin’.
