Default S/T wheels on GT3

Has anyone tried fitting S/T magnesium wheels on a GT3?

I’m considering upgrading and would like to know if they fit perfectly, especially with regard to any potential issues with offset.

While browsing Suncoast Parts for GT3 wheels, I came across the S/T Magnesium Wheel Set. The dimensions seem very similar, with the only difference being the rear offset:
  • Front: 9.5 J x 20 ET 46
  • Rear: 12 J x 21 ET 44 (vs. GT3's ET 45)
Does anyone have experience with this setup, and will the slight difference in rear offset (ET 44 vs. ET 45) cause any issues? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

For 47k you could probably get custom one off wheels possibly for a couple different cars or summer/winter set.

From memory the Manthey offer a 7.3kg or 16lbs overall weight reduction over the GT3 wheels and cost around $10,000 dollars, a huge saving over the S/T wheels but still offering a performance gain and are OEM approved.

I have the Manthey wheels - very light - a little lighter than the HRE 101LWs . . . I. bought them from eurospares.com - about $10K. Love them.

Certainly I would steer away from the mag wheels for street use - especially at $10K each. For my S/T clone project, I commissioned a few sets of custom forged AL wheels in exact S/T dimensions and styling. . . will be about a 15 lb weight penalty (total) over the mag wheels, but much easier to swallow cracking a $750 wheel than a $10K wheel . .

They look great! Show us the whole car please. :-)
How are the Michelin S5's? I didn't know they were now available in N-Rated sizes....

Ditto re the Michelins. Really interested in hearing more about then, as they were not around when I checked a few months back.

Love THE S5's so far - very quite - don't have enough seat time to really compare them to the 4S's but very pleased with how they handle and sound . . . especially with my new S/T suspension tuning that @rnlst_log and I cracked - car is close to the perfect street GT.

Awesome looking car! The Manthey wheels look the business too. I'm a big fan of GT Silver so all in all a perfect spec in my eyes!

The rears are Panamera spec, but the fronts are Mercedes spec . . . not ideal, but they seems to work perfectly and are about the quietest performance tire I've driven on . ..

GT3T + Resonix + S/T suspension dampening + 5S = bliss

Wow those are gorgeous wheels, if they don't offer mag wheels for the .2 Touring I might have to pick up a set of those.

Aside from the economic concerns, yes, they should be a perfect fit…
