Get a SOUL, you won't be disappointed. Quality, sound, and customer service are all top notch. Love it on my 992 RS. For context - I've purchased exhausts from SOUL, GMG, Akra, Sharkwerks, and AWE. I'll only be purchasing from SOUL in the future.

I tend to agree with you on a 992. The OEM system actually sounds good, there’s more induction noise in the cabin and it’s plenty loud enough at high RPM. But I wasn’t really satisfied with it until installing Soul Valve Deletes which restored the proper sounds below 4000.
That said, I felt that the OEM system on my 991.2 wasn’t nearly loud enough and I ended up installing an Akra center delete with link pipes which eliminated all the mufflers and valves. I thought it sounded amazing, but my neighbors were less impressed. 😎

A 3RS with a catless system is the best sounding car at our track, some are more expensive, but that engine with the Soul sounds like heaven ripping open.

Just checked JCR. There's a LOT of different configuration options. I think I would prefer valved, to control if valves open/closed? Is this option sufficient then - https://jcr-developments.com/product...ce-pipe-valved ? I guess this keeps the stock headers / cats.

What do people do with the GPF in these cars and which will guarantee not to get a CEL as well as passing a Kalifornia smog inspection in 4 years?

Akrapovic and Soul are our best sellers.
Let us know if we can help at all with those two brands. Akrapovic in stock, Soul usually made within 3 weeks.

You don't need to chisel out the OPF material. Check out the second video on post #35
"they removed OPF surroundings to remove the whole OPF in one piece
