I have some vibrations on my right passenger door, and they seem to come from a small plastic piece underneath the armrest. The dealer 'fixed' the issue already, but the vibrations came back after 150km. Since my dealer is far away, I'd like to use my DYI skills and do it myself. Does anyone know if I can remove this plastic piece easily? I definitely don't want to remove the whole door pannel.
another option might be to see if a local ppf detailer that has exp with porsches could help investigate and resolve. after ppf and tear downs, sometimes those generate rattles/vibrations so detailers that do teardowns are generally familiar with addressing rattles. my detailer always offers to investigate and resolve. usually it's a clip somewhere is what they told me.
Door card is super easy to pull on these cars. YouTube videos out there on how to do it. You can get some resonix butyl rope and wedge it in between the plastic on plastic contact points on the backside of the door card. There are several. It will eliminate the rattles and squeaks for good. There is also some thin foam you can get for panel rattles.
