I asked that same question in another thread. Responses were that 918 vip’s didn’t so it’s one of their cars.

This is a marketing ploy to get flung around the internet. $911k for a 911. They know no one is going to bite, they just want it circulated. And it's working like a charm
That is what I thought but the CarFax shows it was sold at The Collection. So someone bought it there and drove it down to Champion. A 918 VIP must have flipped it since the program is ending soon with nothing interesting on the immediate horizon. Normal people were forced to lease it for a year. Or they are preselling it for when the 6-month VIP or 1-year lease restriction is over.

Maybe a hot take, but after seeing the S/T in person...dare I say I prefer the sport classic.

If I had this kind of money I would rather just travel back in time and buy a brand new 918.
If you find a way to go back you can buy the 918 and Im going to buy 20k worth of Bitcoin.

It sure did, and I watched my friend sell his Porsche Cayman for 100 bitcoin in April 2013 at a Starbucks.
Bitcoin was around since 2009.

My friend sold his bitcoins for a brand new MacBook Pro in 2014.
Worst decision of his life.
