Same reason you would track any 911........learn to drive better, learn the car and have a blast) I have tracked all my Porsches at one time or another, even a C4S)

Why not?

There are track cars, and then there are cars that you can track.

I've taken various 911s, Ferraris and Mclarens on track, as well as an X5 and Camry on track.

Can't say that the X5 was any less enjoyable than a 720s.
