It's also one of those....people always want most what they can't easily have....so people with FU money will pay whatever the cost is to get the car.

Right. Because of the 2700 billionaires in the world you happen to know several and those also happen to be on a car forum lurking and hanging out.

What's it like to be a billionaire? Is it like being a multi-millionaire with more money or are there other benefits? Just curious for future goals and planning.

Don't need to be a billionaire to pay $600k for a car. You just need to *really* like Porsches.
S/T is cool, but it's not $600k cool IMO. Definitely worth it at sticker.

I was so excited to be front of the line for an ST in Mexico at MSRP.
The whole f*cking country got one. ONE ST.
At this point, they've all be assigned and spec'd so it's over.
I was then offered one by a private party who purchased two.
$300k over.
When I look at 911R historical prices, it doesn't make sense.
And then I wonder if I'll actually enjoy driving the **** out of a $600k car.
A $300k car yes. $600k? I just don't know as I don't have fu money.
It would be tragic not to drive such a machine.

If I were a billionaire, I’d skip over the S/T to a Gordon Murray T.50 or T.33 (may as well get one of each). You said there is nothing like an ST and I agree when considering pricing. But price independent, how could you not prefer a GMA (aside from subjective appearance)?

Just get both. S/T and T.50. And throw in a the T.33 just for the heck of it.
All of those cars added up, doesn't even amount to a rounding error for a billionaire's bank account.
It's a silly argument.
