Just got my new 2024 C4S and was offered at GT3 allocation?

How do you know if you can't test drive one? Not OP, I love the idea of a lot of cars, but know that once the honeymoon wears off, I might get sick of a car due to reliability, maintenance, the way it drives, etc. I had a Bronco that I loved in theory, but in reality, I am much happier with a German sports sedan that drives well than a huge SUV that drives like ****, but is technically a convertible or I can technically take the doors off, although I personally never did remove the doors.

^ Not sure what the Carrera maintenance schedule is, but the GT3 schedule seems very reasonable.

How do you know you actually want either?

That helps with a small dose exposure - in an ideal environment - but that isn’t living with it day to day on crappy roads, inclement weather, outside of the honeymoon period, etc. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m all about acquiring the GT3 if one can, but I acknowledge the car isn’t for everybody (…even if everybody loves it).

But I don’t actually find the GT3 to be very stiff. It’s definitely not intended for bad roads, but on decent roads, I spend a lot of time in track mode which is firm, but not harsh.
I’m not sure what you mean by high maintenance. It’s pricier for similar work due to pricier components and packaging. But the service schedule is about the same as any 911, no? I am just under 5K at 6 months and taking it in for the first service. Is early, but I don’t baby it, so some fresh oil won’t hurt.
