Default Wow, that is pretty expensive.

The MB factory one for my GTR was about $4k. BBi on order for the GT3 even less. Porsche is pretty proud of this one. Was thinking it was carbon at that price until I read the details.

When it is 2.5x higher than a Factory Mercedes version and over 3x more than aftermarket. All about the same design and materials.

You don't think that a $10k harness bar is expensive?

Your wallet and your money. Pretty expensive compared other products that are the same and in the market place. If you want to pay that Porsche tax then make yourself happy.

It's a rear half-cage rather than a harness bar. It reinforces B-pillars, C-pillars and roof. The Mercedes one has like 1/4 of the material of this one and offers minimal reinforcement - it's all in one flat plane, so pretty much just a harness attachment bar. Very different products. But both are quite overpriced compared to aftermarket.
