Default 992.1 GT3/Touring allocations popping up

I see a few 992.1 GT3 winged and Touring allocations ( not eligible for PTS) starting to pop up. Brokers want 75-80k and the dealers want 100k!! Apparently Porsche is giving these allocations because the .2 is delayed. Is it just me or anyone else finding this whole thing highly suspect? I feel like dealers have been hoarding these allocations. Who in their right minds would pay 75-100k over for the outgoing .1 ?

Huh?
Who says the .2 is being delayed as you claim?
You don't sound like you understand that the 992.2 is quite a ways away.

It has nothing to do with the .2. These are just allocation spots that open up because of production delays/issues with the 3RS or ST. Rather than waste a spot on the production line they just build something else which is why these pop up from time to time.

I have an email from a dealership that says 992.2 is delayed. I understand .2 GT3 is still a couple years to go. So what exactly is your point? You think the ADM justified? You think these allocations showed up magically even though everyone said 992.1 GT3 production was over a long time ago?

That makes a lot of sense.

See above post.
This has been discussed on numerous threads.

Thank you.

$75k and $100k over? Yeah OK maybe 2 years ago but not today. About half that, ok.

I can see $50k over and have actually expressed that to an intermediary and he seriously doubted the dealers would agree to that. I just can't see paying any more than that for the privilege. For that kind of money I'd look to other brands with easier access and less BS.

exactly! if I want to pay 50 extra I'd up my underlying price then pay the 50 extra on a slightly used 2023 296 GTB. I won't play the game P dealers are engineering. The extra 50 will get me more value on a higher sticker and newer car on a percentage basis.

You are probably right. Someone posted here a couple weeks back that they got a 22 PTS touring used under 1k miles for 45k over msrp.

Not surprising these allocations are popping up. The .1 ADM craze is definitely cooling off but when the .2 come out with a 20% higher msrp it will carry the value of the .1's to at least their original msrp's... Not that I give a **** though, I have been driving the hell out of mine !

Assuming the .2 don’t have an ADM

seriously doubt the .2 will be 20% higher MSRP as compared to .1 .
It always amazes me , how some people contribute to the hype and feed into it , may be to convince themselves that they did well paying x number of dollars for their car
