S/T delays
#91
I didn’t have delays. Non pts wp 3rs. Heavily optioned but no EM. May beat the delivery date of April. Had a few changes in production timing pre production but no issues since entered production, finished production. Waited at German port for maybe a week but then departed en route to US.
Order placed Oct. entered production late Feb. at German port by March. Left mid March.
Maybe EM backed up?

Drifting
Hearing glass issues…remember all those constantly spontaneously breaking 992 GT3 windows, I dealt with them on mine…porsche needs to get this stuff figured out, getting comical. These things used to be tanks.

Just got bumped 11 more days, after a 17 day bump 4 weeks ago. So far about a month total push from original projected date.
Anyone else get bumped overnight last night?

No bump last night! However, I was notified by TYD that your Porsche has arrived at the German port. USA deliveries for S/T are starting to happen...

EDIT: Just checked the TYD for our 3RS and the delta between German port and arriving at Porsche store is 1 month. Odd that the S/T is projected to take 2 months (2x the time) between those steps

It is a **** show ... My GT4 RS, after production was finished has gotten the transport date kick back twice...20 days each...
If when the car enters production you don't have more or less accurate dates it is simple... don't provide those...
Even the factory is not right as mine was built at Osnabruck and it says Zuff...very little attention to detail for a 200k car...

Three Wheelin'
You ladies need to stop worrying about delays. You want to talk about delays? Try dealing with Ford. It took 3 1/2 years to get my Bronco. Anyway here's a picture or as they say "it didn't happen." Sorry to hi jack the thread. Just wanted to add some levity.

My 3rs just arrived. 4 days prior to the original TYD estimate. I got the message my vehicle was en route to dealership and an hour later my sales person let me know it had arrived. So I think the steps get a bit screwed up.

I mean how does this compare to other companies apps or online trackers? I usually buy only old cars now, so I have no basis for comparison.

If you're just getting to German port you're still ~2 months from getting the car, at least that's the delta on my TYD. I think we are still a 30+ days out for the earliest US cars
