Are you guys PPF’ing the headlights on your 992 GT3/RS?

Chance of pitting and chips is 100% on the headlights. Chance of delaminating is 10-20%. After going without before I’ll take my chances with.

My car arrives in the next few days. Already has full PPF on the body. Will immediately take it for PPF on the headlights. I’d PPF the black plastic air dams and trim if I could to keep from being chewed up on track.

Headlight PPF is worth the risk to me.

This. Also, you can always wetsand and re-apply PPF if it does happen. No issue. I always PPF lights.

So I have it on my Speedster that doesn’t sit outside but not on my GT3. Both have full ppf. Guess which I drive more.

Just went through this with my personal 991.1 3RS. Headlights were a little pitted, but I still took the chance of PPF and headlights instantly started delaminating while adjusting the PPF, wasn't even done installing the PPF and they were peeling.

Had them sanded / polished out, back to brand new condition now! PPF is about to go on today and no more issues with delaminating in the future. I do not like my headlights pitted from rock chips, want them looking brand new as long as I own the vehicle.

I wish they made something to protect all the black lower plastic trim on my 3RS and Turbo GT. It's getting pitted just from normal driving and a few Porsche drives. Any ideas?
