I think rather than 3D printing a new badge, I would simply sand off GT3 lettering, fill / bondo / paint the "blank" insert with trim black paint, and the apply on of the MANY different stick on emblems. That touring deck on ebay is a bargain, and easily fixed - I think that blemished scoop snaps off, and could be separately painted - certainly worth trying the price!!

3D printing is a good way to go if you can get quality work done and finished to a high level. Otherwise, I'd probably combine these ideas - sand off the existing badge, bondo and wet sand/repaint and then see if the OEM 911 logo would fit on there. I suspect that it will and will look relatively OEM if you spend the time.

I thought about the 911 dash badge, but I have the gloss black “911” badge on the dash and the back of the car, so I wanted to change it up a little for the deck lid.

I probably would have snatched that up…if I did not decide on a different path
