I’ll look around for emblems to utilize in that space. Thank you for the suggestion.

Fun mod to watch. Looking forward to seeing the end result. Like the idea of the rear badge use, or maybe the optional 911 dash badge?

3D printing is a good way to go if you can get quality work done and finished to a high level. Otherwise, I'd probably combine these ideas - sand off the existing badge, bondo and wet sand/repaint and then see if the OEM 911 logo would fit on there. I suspect that it will and will look relatively OEM if you spend the time.

I thought about the 911 dash badge, but I have the gloss black “911” badge on the dash and the back of the car, so I wanted to change it up a little for the deck lid.

@M3Inline6
I like the GT3 T or S/T deck lid much better as well. But yeah, it's too much for me. Good luck though (sincerely).

Instead of 3-D printing, it would be cool if you could have a badge machined from metal (aluminum) using a CNC machine.

He actually mentioned the final piece might be CNC’d aluminum or 3D printed aluminum.

Here’s the link to the eBay listing should somebody want to save a few thousand and perform this modification as well.
