Default Rear Axle Cooling Duct Upgrade?

Ran across this at Suncoast today. For whatever reason, I have not seen them in the past or even heard of them. Is anyone running these and have any insights into how they work? Surprisingly, they don't seem to carry the normal Porsche tax and are pretty reasonable in price.

Interersting and surprisingly reasonable price. Hope someone tries these and lets us know how easy to install (looks like a simple bolt-on).

Maybe Porsche wants these to be popular upgrade to reduce warranty claims.

Update: I ordered a pair - will let you know how it goes...

They are GT3 RS parts, kudos for Porsche continuing improving things.

For only $132.00, nothing wasted with ordering them as well.

I ordered it. Only half turned up. When messaging Suncoast they said that the left side would arrive the middle of next month. Heads up for everyone.

No, they are RS parts and can only help. Porsche would have to show that the better cooling was responsible for an axle failure. And Suncoast is a legitimate Porsche dealer offering these as an upgrade for GT3.

How difficult is the installation? Anyone pay a mechanic to install these? Cost.

Don’t have mine yet, but looks like a 5 minute job per side with a screwdriver (probably a Torx bit)
