I changed from iron to ST courtesy of @Hinz Motorsport . The brakes are better than the irons in every way except price. After the bedding in process you will forget about the money spent. I am extremely happy with the brakes, the performance, no dust, no noise, looks great, and feather light.

Is the lightness something you can feel when driving (steering or ride difference)?

Maybe a little in acceleration, it does stop better and more linear and controlled, could be placebo. I think one of my biggest likes is pedal feel. It’s hard to describe but the way it grabs you can feel it in the pedal that it’s not grabbing metal. You do need to push the pedal in a bit further than with the irons but the nice thing is it lines up perfectly with the accelerator now and not slightly raised so blipping is a bit easier.

I had ST on 991.1 and 991.2 RS that came with steel.
Went through a couple refurbishments. Excellent brakes better then PCCB and much cheaper.

Do we know what the difference is between GT3 and Gt3RS as ST seems to have a different part #?
Aren’t the brakes the same? PCCB VS PCCB GT3 VS GT3RS?

my understanding is the the 992 RS PCCB's are not the same as 992 GT3 PCCB's - slight differences

but my memory may be off…

For MY2022 on GT3, the front iron disks are thinner than PCCB (34mm vs 36mm). For MY2023 and later (including 3RS and 4RS), the fronts are all 36mm.

I think for the calipers that use 36mm front discs, that the piston sizes are also somewhat changed.

So it’s the same PCCB GT3 VS GT3RS all 36mm thick rotors then.
I wonder if anything else is different? Can’t find sorry.

I am not aware of any changes to the PCCB's (but I've never had them, so may have missed it).

Just fitted the STs to my 2024 GT3RS with PCCB. The ST kit for GT3 PCCB replacement is a direct fit to the RS no issues, Rotors as if factory. If you are using factory pads with the rotors it's a non issue. Pagid RSC1 pads are thicker than the factory pads and your technician needs to make sure are caliper pistons are fully seated or it with give the appearance of a 2mm difference. If all pistons fully seated then there is NO issue RSC1 pads just fine and so GT3 PCCB replacement is the same for both GT3 and GT3RS no issues straight swap.

Copy. Thanks!

I have almost new RSC pads from my GT4RS but the pads are different for 992GT3RS ;-)
I’ll get them going 👍. Picking up my car today, wrap, VBox, ST -> Sebring..

Only other mod I have done is SRF brake fluid and Factory Track suspension setup which is unbelievable on a factory street car highly recommended! either way you will not be disappointed!

I’m a fan and have used on several p-GT including one of if not their first set made for CGT.

pccb have come a long way for sure. As a “cost effective” upgrade to ccb from irons, no brainer. As a cost effective consumable alternative to replacing pccb rotors; also no brainer imo.
