Did any one receive the free gift from Porsche

Yes I received the same survey on gifts along with many others - mainly relating to either EV Porsche’s or electronics in the vehicle. I guess they weren’t happy with my answers as I obviously don’t fit the profile of their desired “new age” driver…

Cheap swag cheapens the brand. Not sure why they don’t realize this.

I’ve received the usual cheap swag and have a drawer full of carbon fiber pens. My favorite so far is a very nice Porsche T-shirt with GT Silver logo (I think I picked the color). I wished they’d do more T-shirts, the fabric is a top quality. I think I got it for filling out a survey so I’ve been filling out countless surveys since hoping to get another one🙏.

I seem to have done quite well for free gifts with my Boxster T order.
Just after I ordered the car I got a small model through the post of the original 718….
When I collected the car I got the normal free key ring, a set of espresso cups and Sachertorte! That made the drive home nice and slow so I didnt spill cake in my new car.
A few months after taking delivery I got a metal sign through the post of my car….
I also got the free track / safety day with some nice pictures and swag…
A good range of gifts over all, nothing to fancy but some nice touches. Made the buying experience a bit more special.

Received a pen from PCNA and clear side markers from the Dealer.
I was expecting the Porsche branded Li battery maintainer, but found out that not all Dealers pay to provide them.
Instead I purchased a nice C-Tek model off Amazon which I’m told works better than the Porsche branded model.

This year I took delivery of my gt3 and two Macans for family members. I now have a bunch of pens. Seeing this thread had been enlightening, lol.
edit: at least this year I got something, paste couple 911s and gt3s, nothing.

I literally yesterday put two spare house keys for my wife on a cheesy white leather key chain that's been sitting in my office .... she looked at it with disdain and said "I don't want my keys on some cheap looking Ferrari key chain".
Silver lining - I think that was a full green light on an SF90.
I actually like my 911 'carbon fiber' pens. And got a 356 model and a 911 turbo silver paperweight. I am in the minority here...a cheap $5 gift in a fancy box delights me. I am not sure the last time someone has actually given me a gift that actually interests me.
My dealer has always made it fun. Picking up my GTS they told me a could have a hat or shirt and just pick out whatever i wanted. My 75 y/o Dad (who is slowing down) was with me and they told him he could grab something too....it was like he won the lottery, he spent 20 minutes debating and was a memory that we laugh about. When my GT3 came in they made a nice gift bag for delivery inspection -- but took it back to give to him on actual pick up. It's silly but for 0.0001% of the cost of the car here I am typing about it.

So meanwhile I received an indoor cover from my dealer. Meanwhile the other day the generic 911 pen showed up (having bought a GT3T) which I have no use for. Unless Porsche puts more effort into these trinkets I wish they wouldn’t bother as it just cheapens the brand. Whoever is in charge of their branding strategy should be fired and move to Hyundai…
