Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that Porsche builds them. But a stripped, lightweight GT3 track version would be a better choice for most track drivers. Or even a 718 Clubsport with factory safety systems. I say this as a certified PCA DE instructor who has worked with many drivers over twenty years.
Yup, most GT3RS won't ever see any track time while only seeing street time at their local C&Cs to showoff and will be stored away thinking that it is some kind of investment.

Go visit the Nürburgring sometime. You'll feel extremely "glad"

Seen several at my small local track also...

No it isn't. I own one and wanted replacement decals and had to provide VIN and my bill of sale.

And unfortunately most of them are spec’d as such as well. Cars spec’d well for track use will be few and far between…

How do you know this? Credible source or personal experience?

Confirmed by the Sonderwunsch department. Was told they did not allow the combo for one year due to Tribute but now it is available (if you can get an allocation) and pass the CXX order minimum figure…

I fell in love with green & white. CXX - 20k
lizard threads & Green. It was not possible to spec P green back In 2023. Nov delivery - 4k miles on her. Build your own if you can get a CXX spot.

May/June time what? You mean CXX cars will be built in May 2025? Or May/June 2024 allocations (to be built in November 2024) are CXX ones?

I’m not trying to be an *** but put some thinking into posting info like this before posting it. There is no way to understand what you actually mean.

Not trying but certainly succeeding. His post makes perfect sense. The next CXX slots are next May / June but 992 3RS production is supposed to end in March. Hence no more chances for a 3RS allocation holder to get CXX options unless you already know you have it.

A better way to explain this could be “production slots scheduled to begin production in calendar months of May/June 2025 are the next earliest CXX opportunity. Since no RS is presumed to be built that late, it doesnt appear that 3RS will get a CXX build”.

That being said, this isnt correct. I have a MY25 3RS build with an approved CXX slot. I got this in the recent batch of allocations and I know for a fact I have a CXX slot for this fall.

I know everyone is trying to help and share info. I appreciate the help. I am also sharing what I know.
