4) having zero trunk is an adjustment
5) the wing is ~3X the size/ surface area
6) hot radiator air
it’s terrible I should have kept my gt3

Looks great, what cage did you end up going with? Assume BBI? They were able to match the same green?

I plan on getting mine painted green.

Yes, BBi. They did paint it green but their color was off a few shades. Luckily my dealer is super helpful and easy to work with. They fixed it and it matches perfectly.

If you're complaining about gravel shooting from the wheel wells you're in the wrong car.

Heard that feedback from quite a few people. No doubt some enterprising company will make a grill to reduce that nuisance.

So who ended up doing the painting? Painted or powder coated?

Allow me to answer your question with a question. Do you think a professional racer cares what their car looks like at the end of a race, or whether it was turbo or NA, or had rear wheel steering or not? The answer is no. They only care about being the fastest and winning. The RS is the fastest track-focused street car that you can reasonably buy. Its sole purpose is as a dedicated track weapon. The aero is there for a purpose and it clearly works. Not sure why one would own the car if that's not your ethos.

Not trying to be harsh but honestly this car is about time at the track and making lasting memories. Patina should be the least of your concerns.

Is it possible to order Tribute exterior color wheels and decals if you have a 2025 allocation?

Doubtful - that was an expensive option paying for exclusivity

Could certainly replicate easily in the aftermarket (decals and painting the wheels, though repainting Mag wheels is more complicated)

Not trying to be harsh but most GT3 RS are never going to see much if any track miles. They are trophy cars mostly kept locked away for the next owner. I am super glad when I see one in their natural habitat but it's not very common. I think very few people are willing to risk a $500k car when track incidents are not that rare.
Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that Porsche builds them. But a stripped, lightweight GT3 track version would be a better choice for most track drivers. Or even a 718 Clubsport with factory safety systems. I say this as a certified PCA DE instructor who has worked with many drivers over twenty years.
