@paxton if we compare our 992 door pull conversion with our lizard green RS, I would say the leather is 99.9%, thread is 99.9%, and strap about 99%. So if you round up, it’s as close to 100% factory as possible 😉HTH

Was this connector a PITA for anyone else? Anyone know how to disconnect? I’m about to feel like an idiot I’m sure. On the install video it shows the connector as a whole being removed with a flathead but they don’t mention unplugging the connector

Thanks in advance

All of them that don’t have the quick-release function are a pain in the ***.

Yeah, that’s what I had to do. I felt like I was going to break something.

For others, I stuck a jewelers flat tip screw driver in the connector to release the tab. This was after 5 minutes of banging my head on the roof trying to get it out.

Why Porsche made it so difficult is beyond me.

See the green leather in the background? That's genuine Porsche Mamba Green. We are already working on it for a few Tribute clients.

What is the process for changing the straps themselves? Does anybody have an install guide?

Yup, or you can use a "pick" type tool like the one that Nick provides from Musicar when you install the front speakers and just "work" the connector out.
