Will 991 GT3 RS wheels fit the 992 GT3?
I'm considering a used set of 991 GT3 RS wheels for my 992 GT3 for track duty. However, I'm not sure if the wheels are compatible (I'm a newbie). From what I can tell, the front wheels are both 20x9.5". However, the rear 991 GT3RS real wheels are a bit wider (991 GT3RS = 21x12.5 and 992 GT3 wheels are 21x12). I'm not sure if the offsets are the same for the front and/or if the rear wheels will have rubbing or other issues. Also, I understand there are some differences between the 991 and 992 centerlock mechanisms.
Anyone know if 991 GT3 RS wheels fit the 992 GT3 and if the wheels are compatible with the centerlock mechanism?

The OEM wheels will technically fit 991 RS to 992 GT3. Basically same offsets, but OEM fronts have a caliper clearance issue
Rears no issues, as the 991 and 992 share the same brake rotor and hat.
Fronts, the 992 brake rotor and hat are about 15mm shorter if you laid them on a flat surface.
The 991 wheels will fit nicely to the fender, but the 992 caliper will grind the back of the RS OEM wheel spokes.
After market RS wheels may clear, depending on the spoke profile.
The center lock nut on 991 to 992 are slightly different in their interaction with the internal locking mechanism.
The center lock face on the wheels are identical.
