2023 Touring here.
Put 300km on the car over the weekend.
I gotta say this car exceed my expectation by a margin.
Having owned the 991.2 GT3 since 2018, I was nervous about the car being too stiff (as per all the YouTubers….)
The ride is actually much more refined vs the 2018. Still stuff but well controlled, I can say comparing to the 992 Targa 4S I also have, the GT3 is not much less comfortable at all. Big surprise.
However, is the car is very easy to stall? In the Targa or other manual cars I had, I could give zero throttle and just rely on the clutch to move at 0-5 KM/H. In the GT3 I have to constantly giving it gas or the car will stall in no time. It also requires more gas when moving from standing still. Is it just me? Though I haven’t stall the car since the first drive, I have been mindful about this “special feature” while driving.

I have heard this from more than a few people and had me so concerned I went back and forth on PDK/MT at least a half dozen times during the order process - to the point I felt compelled to apologize to my SA for the ridiculous amount of changes. Settled on the MT and have in practice found it to be the opposite - aside from stalling pulling into my garage immediately after delivery and once on my first steep incline it feels almost difficult to stall now. I've found the clutch provides ample feedback and the engagement point, once known to the driver, to be incredibly easy, almost effortless, to get moving (except on a steep incline - though not much harder). To the point I think it makes me look like a far better manual driver than I actually am to any of my passengers. Also waffled on the LWBS/18 ways and settled on the buckets and think they're extremely comfortable (with a memory foam P1 insert).

Interesting. The clutch feel was not the issue though. I agree the clutch feel and the biting point is very clear. It is the throttle input or the amount of throttle input required to get this thing moving at low speed. I'm not used to give the car that much gas, or keep feathering the throttle to keep it moving at low speed. Overall getting it to move is not a problem, just a matter of getting used to the car. It becomes even harder when I have to make small adjustment in tight parking space, with some degree of slope.
Now the dumb basic question, while in my previous cars I could keep the car moving with in-out half clutch at 0-5km/h ,without any throttle input; in the GT3 it will stall. Then do you guys just keep the clutch half engaged and keep feathering the throttle?
Nice color btw, Arctic Grey + black package + dark silver rim looks amazing.

Picked up this '22 GT3 Touring in PTS Oak Green Metallic with Chalk interior about a month ago; noticed the same thing about the clutch. Stalled it the first time I test drove it, definitely needs revs to get it going vs. what I was used to with my GT4.
My 718 GT4 is on it's way south of the border, I hope the new owner is on here!

I became a GT3 owner yesterday, as I traded in my 20233 992 T for a 2022 Gt3 with pccb, lwbs and so forth. I have to admit to being slightly spooked as i headed to the dealer to execute the deal; after all the reading I did, there were all kinds of things in my head like the ride on the street is unbearable, the lwbs suck, the torque down low is non-existent, the T is the sweet spot, and well, you get my drift. In all honestly all of that is just silly. I'm a lifelong motorcyclist and for me there have been bikes that when you ride them, you can't help but laugh from the experience, and yesterday my first drive home in the GT3 was the first time a car has had me laughing out loud.
The car is absolutely mega. Stoked to be here.

The LWB connect you to the road and IMO a must if you track the car with any regularity.
While I understand the need to have a single car that serves multiple roles, the LWB should be the default seat for this model and its intended purpose/design.
