Data points on time between boat landing and car getting on truck to dealeral
Looking for what is "typical" time between when the boat hits the port and the car gets on the truck. TYD gives it a week. Is that standard?

My last two cars arrived to the dealer only two days after the ship unloaded in Benicia.

Ship anchored on a Friday morning at 1:20 AM on Dec. 23rd.
Ship left Benicia for South Korea at 11:00 PM that same night.
My SA notified me on Monday, Dec. 26th that the car was "ready for transport.
Car arrived at my dealer (just 14 miles away) on Wednesday, Dec. 28th.
And "TYD" was spot on for me from pretty much start to finish.
I got lucky!

Depends on if they need to repaint it after a fender bender or not....(that you'll never be told about).
Sorry, that was mean!! LOL

2-3 days is pretty regular in my experience.

My car was at the dealer (NJ) a couple days after it hit port (RI)... My friend just took delivery last week and was the same outcome for him as well...
I have heard the horror stories where cars sit at port for awhile but haven't found that to be the case.
