Euro Delivery Question: Green Zone driving
Hello all,
planning my trip this summer for pick up from Leipzig - staying at some hotels in various German locations with a. LEV (Low Emission Zone) vehicle requirements.
How do I get to my hotels with my US Spec 911? Is it possible, does it matter? Can I register? Do I simply "pay the fine"...
any 1st hand experience here would be appreciated…
thanks,

I remember them explaining this to me at Leipzig pickup and I believe we don’t have to worry about it due to our plates being the equivalent of “temp plates” over there.
I am probably misremembering, but the conclusion was we don’t have to worry about it.

i do ED every year and have never had this on my car upon delivery. I suspect the temp plate explanation above makes the most sense. However, given that I never drive my cars into big cities on ED, I honestly havnt given it much thought.

Me too. Only sticker (vignette) I ever needed on the windshield was to cross Swiss border.

I went back and looked and my pictures and I stand corrected - Porsche did not deliver the car with the sticker. BMW did. Picture of green zone sticker - it’s the green sticker on the passenger side bottom of the windshield. Sorry about that.
