Give us some crumbs please! Until then, this thread is similar to those FB posts where the person says "Ugh...just sayin." Thereby promoting the knee jerk 873 responses of "OMG are u OK?"

Lip and the plastic trim is likely interchangeable. Cleaned up the rear intake panels as well.

Give me the mag wheels and the lightweight clutch/flywheel with an NA engine and I'm all in.

The LWFW is a game changer. I had watched a while back the Spike Ferensten/ Lieberman podcast where he described the s/t as a zombie and I think he used the word possessed.

At the time I thought that was silly and such a lame description. I’m now well over 1000 miles on the new clutch and 10k for the car and let me tell you the car is a fken animal. I now understand why he described it as such.

Totally transformed the car. It is violent and noisy. We went for a drive yesterday and drivers behind me said the car seems so angry and that they’re hearing sounds they’ve never heard before. Raw is an understatement.

They could put a 4.2 in the new one and I wouldn’t care one bit. I think if you added both those mods to your car you wouldn’t think about upgrading.

Just saying….

Certainly, going to keep what I have. No more paying over sticker for minor changes and I like having an analog tach in my interior (not a big "screen" fan).
Porsche is soooooo good at incremental improvements that I guess some of us just need to know when to say when.
Super happy with the lot in my garage and looking forward to many miles on them!

Hopefully they fix this "lightweight" glass issue in the next generation. A little nervous about driving around in these cars with thin glass!

I keep thinking a manual 992.1 GT3 with ST flywheel and clutch and Manthey kit would be my dream GT3.

I'm going to down one of 3 paths....1) if the .2GT3 is turbo or hybrid I keep my .1 Touring and add the clutch/flywheel along with an exhaust and all it a day, 2) if the .2GT3 is NA and doesn't have the clutch/flywheel option then I buy and add it after I get the car, or 3) if the .2GT3 is NA and has the option which I of course would spec. I'm most excited about this clutch/flywheel and the mag wheels.

$300k+ sounds like the normal transacting price for a 992.2

If they offer a Weissach package then certainly. Suddenly the S/T isn't expensive

well… not exactly. My point was the 992.2 GT3 will be a much more expensive car than prior GT3s, it’s no longer ‘hitting above its weight’. It’s hitting at its weight.

and the S/T, if you take away the plaque, it’s also expensive relative to GT3s just a couple years ago. Heck, it’s not even that rare. The 991.2 Touring and the S/T are probably around the same production numbers.
