Default Wind buffeting - solutions?

Just got back from my first day out in the GT3.
Last season I was in a GTS, and on the main straight on my home track (CMS) the wind buffeting was super annoying but manageable.
In the GT3 its not liveable. It shakes the car/helmet and makes it hard to see...I was literally backing off early and costing into my normal brake point. Not sure why it's worse in GT3 - maybe had a little more speed (couldn't tell due to the buffeting and wasn't running my catalyst).

I know AWE has a triangle - but hate having to pull apart the a pillar to install.

Does anyone have creative ways to fix this. I tried putting the windows up a couple inches. Maybe glue something on.

fwiw I have the carbon fiber triangles...was kind of hoping they would be helpful.

Thanks for any ideas. With how well so much of this car is sorted it seems crazy that this exisits.

Huh?

The AWE wind foil diffusers are super easy to install. Literally a 5 minute job each side.

I’ve used AWE, but like these better (come with industrial double sided tape):

Thanks, yeah i just relooked at directions and realese its just the interior triangle.

I may actually try the DB Carbons to keep the look. Wish I hadn't wasted $500 on the OEM triangles...

Never tried. If you take off the stickers that say Blackmill, don’t think anyone will object when you sell the car. New factory triangles are cheap too…

I've tried them all and this is the best by far.
Easy non intrusive install

the triangles are almost free from Suncoast, so don't sweat that,

AWE is an improvement but still has buffeting,

pulling the triangles is scary first time, but really no big deal. Don't waste money on carbon unless they really work.

surprised this is still an issue when its clear they spent hours and hours on many other features.

+2. Will eliminate 95% of the objectionable noise on the track. Whatever issue there is if you need to remove them is de mínimis compared to other imperfections your car will endure from regular track use. Actually most people, even other Porsche owners, won’t even notice they are there.

I have the Blackmills. Once they are glued on they are nearly impossible to take out so you have to sell the car like that. If you remove the stickers, they look OEM.
They cut down the buffeting significantly and more than the AWE but the AWEs look nicer.

Or replace the triangles that have the Blackmills stuck to them (takes only a few minutes).

If you roll your windows partly up (about 1/5 of the way up) it also eliminates the buffeting. I've yet to be black flagged for it.

This is actually a great idea. I am an idiot for paying $500.00 for the OEM CF on a track car. But I have this massive weakness for CF anything. We are all human.

I'll pull the OEM bling (sell it or save it for reinstall) and then put the blackmills on a new triangle.

Thanks for all the advice and input here. I could have done some more reading archives first in retrospect -- but coming off the track I was a bit spun up about how much judder in the cabin I was getting. Not to be dramatic but it was a little scary. I have coaches watching from the track telling me to get closer to the wall and the wall is moving 3 feet back and forth in my line of perception at 125mph+ << not confidence inspiring for a novice driver.

AWE has both video and written instructions for the install (same as factory pieces):
