Wanted to formally introduce myself in this subforum. My Porsche journey started in 2016 with a 2012 991.1 C2S 7MT. I kept it and loved it for over 5 years and it will always have a very special place in my heart. A semi hit me and I ended up selling it and getting a 981 GT4. I loved the GT4; the handling was telepathic and the car felt like an extension of myself, but the tall 2nd gear was something I couldn't get over. The lower power didn't even bother me as much, but I didn't feel the joy in rowing my own gears.
Fast forward a year, I traded it for a 991.1 GT3, which was an absolute beast and showed me a different side of the 991 chassis. However, I still missed having a manual transmission. One thing led to another, and after a few months I ended up trading it for a 992 GT3 6MT in PTS Viper Green.
I've got 850 miles on it and can't wait for break-in to be complete. It's definitely the most special car I've driven, and truly stands out from the other P cars I've owned. I look forward to many good years with it.
