Two relevant points here that give the manual an advantage although not enough to overcome the lighting shift speed of the pdk, one was mentioned in the video and the other not.
Manual is lighter so will accelerate faster
Manual also has more HP to the wheels because of less parasitic losses through the PDK.
Not enough to over come the lighting speed shifting of the PDK though.

Don’t forget that the PDK gets better (lower and closer) gear ratios. Without that, I think Manual would win in drag and track lapping. PDK weighs 37 pounds more and saps more engine power as friction/heat in the wet clutches.
Don’t even think the guy driving the Manual knew it also has launch control and no-lift shifting.

But yeah, the manual is surprisingly fast. I may reconsider my desire to get ST now (heck knows if I can get it, though).

But also, who knows how much gas was in each car too.....A full tank of gas weighs about 142 lbs with the extended range tank. Also winged car has PCCBs. Doesn't appear the Touring does unless they are painted.

I now have a 992 PDK and can say the manual is more fun, I'd have one but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this car as even in PDK, it's an amazing vehicle.

I’ve driven both. I love the MT. However, the PDK on the track for lap times is no doubt better. It shifts at the right time and doesn’t lose momentum. The data shows it.
Ask anyone pushing a MT how much they think about the 4-5th shift. If they say “not at all” they are lying or they will be buying an engine soon.
They are both great.

PDK is very slightly faster on track, but the difference is far smaller than most people think and that Porsche projects through their marketing.
PDK is not faster in some older 987 models though (where the deck hasn’t been stacked in its favor).
I don’t think the technology on its own causes a significantly faster lap time from its faster shift time alone - it does not clearly outweigh its weight penalty and its less efficient transfer of power to the driven wheels.
In the 992 GT3, you have to remember the PDK has more favorable gearing and an active LSD.
