Guards on the other hand with silver wheels just looks incredible.

To my eyes they did a great job of matching the shade of red on the wheels with the colour on the decals, they were never going to match the exact finish of the Pyro red wheel with the decals. Personally I think they look fine together and Ice grey Metallic looks great, not a fan of Arctic grey above it looks completely different to Ice grey. These taken both at same time.

Maybe decal delete but I figure lets see what this looks like.
Dark Olive Metallic:
I'm thinking white/gold wheels in the color from 997RS and stripes from the 997 4.0 but change the colors..
If no PTS then GTSilver and you're free to play with pretty much all accent colors. same with white and the black/grey.

I couldn't get PTS with an April build so went with GT Silver and Aurum Weissach wheels. But you really can't go wrong. Seeing the white with red Weissach at the LA Auto show really confirmed to me that the car looks so much better in person, especially the Weissach pack. I love the classic look of the White cars but GT Silver has always been my favorite. I contemplated Racing Yellow but its a bit much for me but if Signal Yellow were available it would really give me pause.
