765LT vs 992 GT3 RS

I think it’ll be longer than that before nicely spec’d, original and well maintained Spiders fall below MSRP (if ever).
That said, I’m shocked that 675LT’s have fallen as much as they have. The GT2 RS has no business being worth more than those in my opinion. The 675 is a more more exciting car to drive, not to mention having more exotic looks and construction… and is much rarer. I believe it’s just a matter of time before those values inverse themselves.

Excellent 675LT coupes with low miles were to be found right at $250K. An absolute bargain now and for the future I suspect. I tried every way I could to talk myself into getting one and keeping it long term in 2019/20, but without a dealer reasonably close, I bottled it. So stupid!

I own a speciale and can tell you it’s 100% reliable. Cars a dream to drive. They can now be had sub 500k or close to it and dropping.

You an owner of either a Ferrari or a McLaren? No?
I Own a 675LT going on 4 years - never had an issue on track outside of A/C failing on a crazy hot day after 6 track hours and fixed under warranty right away.
I have owned every GT Porsche car in last decade (as well as new factory race car from Porsche) and I have a 4RS and 992 3RS on the way in coming months.
The 675LT is in another league and can’t imagine how much more insane a 765LT is and how underpowered it would make a Porsche GT car feel (my 675LT was faster than my 991-2RS in my hands everywhere except the dumb boring straights on track and just by a bit).
So perhaps let owners of multiple brands share their perspectives and stick to why you deserve all Porsche GT cars at MSRP and why ADMs are stupid and so are the dealerships and the buyers paying for them you are exhausting.

My 675LT has been bulletproof and I also find it to be a more exciting car to drive than the Speciale. I sold the Speciale after 6 years of ownership but kept my Pista which I think is a better overall package… and sounds better to my ears.

I decided to keep the Speciale as it was my first ever new car. Sold the Pista for the STO. I would like to have kept both (Pista and STO) but that was not possible at the time.

They made a fair number of Pistas (vs. Speciales) so I’m confident you can find another one someday if you so desire. STO is a fun car, hope you’re enjoying it.

I was looking at a few sub $400k back in Nov/Dec 2020 when I missed out on the CGT but never pulled the trigger. I think they'll get back to around 400k sometime next year.

You post a lot of ridiculous things on here - at a rate of like a post an hour (17 posts today so far). Congrats - this has to be a top 5 for today, or even this week?

I know enough people who have owned McLarens that had enough problems that they were done with the brand (as well as reading about it on here) so just because you haven't had a problem with yours doesn't mean the cars are as reliable as Porsches because they aren't. I don't care how much faster McLarens are compared to Porsches, I've never had any kind of issue of any significance of any of the Porsches that I've owned in the past 10+ years with over 100+ track days on the cars. That's what I call bulletproof and the minor issues that I've had were handled quickly by dealerships that were within a 15-30 minute drive from my home. Besides, I've already got the turbo power want out of my system early on and have no desire to buy any kind of turbo car. And yes, paying high ADMs are stupid whether a dealer or an individual does it....maybe you should ask those dealers that were paying $300k+ for GT3s speculating like a flipper are fairing while prices are coming down.
People with the more expensive cars always get chuckles when the ones with the less expensive cars try to crap on the more expensive cars that they don’t have .
it’s quite comical actually.

Plenty of folks that can afford mclarens skip the brand due to bad experiences with the cars, brand, or dealership network.
I remain in some of the Facebook Mclaren groups and one thing I’ve noticed is a general tolerance of BS problems and experiences in a blind attempt to say they don’t have any issues.
at my final track event with a Mclaren, I laughed at the other owners having similar frustrating issues related to door handles, fuel cap doors, various system errors etc.

I haven't had any issues with my McLarens either. Cracked windshield on the 600LT that was taken care of easily by the dealer. They even sent an enclosed transport to my house to pick the car up and trailer it back to my house (I live in a very rural area about 2.5 hours drive from the dealership). I'd say that's pretty good service.
My Porsches have had a few minor things as well, but also been good.
I know a lot of people personally who own McLarens and they all feel the same way as me, very reliable and a great ownership experience. I have yet to meet someone in real life that has had major problems and sworn off the brand.
