So my PTS Black Olive car finally arrived yesterday....ordered on Nov 3, 2021. It's my 5'th GT3, (previously owned all gens starting w 996), and this car is....the best in every way. The steering, the handling, the engine....I love how Porsche has made the car feel SO MUCH lighter then it is....
Of course, there are a couple of minor irritating things...but there are w every car.
I'm sure there will be more (questions), but my first one is.....:
Is it possible to have the car start in SPORT mode every time? Or does it always have to start in NORMAL...and be changed????

With all things being stock, no. From what I’ve read, all of the emissions testing is done in normal mode, so when the car starts, it has to start in a mode where it passed all required emission parameters.

Based on the dealership, I'm guessing you worked with our buddy Dean? Love that guy.
Anyhow, congrats on the car, it's a beauty of a spec - and agree with the above posters, no way to start in sport mode which is entirely an EPA requirement for testing.
